'Aspen' was released from Quarantine in Sept 2006 and almost straight away had a season and a huge Junior coat drop, After much debate we decided that she would attend the Sheltie National under breed specialist judge: Mrs I Beaden (UK) (Myriehewe) even though she was still wearing her summer outfit......and BOY were we pleased she did...

She was awarded ****JUNIOR IN SHOW****!!!!!!!!!

Aspen's critique from the National

JUNIOR IN SHOW...."Eye catching blue merle, outstanding quality, beautiful shape lovely head, eye, expression, good underjaw, well placed eye, good reach of neck, rounded bone, ideal size, in superb coat, she has level topline, she’s balanced throughout with well bent stifles and long tail, she moves like a dream, she stood out in this very high quality class, her markings are wonderful, her colour is lighter but still good. She is lovely bitch who I wouldn’t mind taking home."

July 2007...We are all very excited that 'Aspen' has now gained her Australian Championship with relative ease against quality competition & unlike many other shelties she has not been shown every weekend at every possible show!!!

************

She is now a Multiple Class in SHOW, Multiple Class in Group, Multiple Runner UP Best Exhibit in Group winner...and at her very first show for 2010 she took out the ultimate award ** Best Exhibit In Show All Breeds**

'Aspen' also qualified for her H.I.C. at her first attempt

'Aspen' only ever had two litters ..the first was a singleton and the second was a litter of 2, her daughter from the second litter did gain her Australian Championship (but because of an unsteady temperament she was not bred from) and unfortunately for us after several failed attempts to have another litter,we decided to have her speyed...She is now enjoying her life as the Queen of the house ............a role in which she certainly excels :)

Pictured here winning Best In Group she went on to be awarded BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW
